Clarity

We decided today to have our annual "discussion" whilst walking, so we hopped on a bus to a village about 8 miles away, had some lunch, and walked home! It was beautiful, and my feet now really hurt! We have also got some Explorer maps to find some other walks in the area. It was so fabulous and green and I need some more of that in large doses. We saw lots of different landscapes and many birds and creatures!



I imagine they're concerned for our sanity in ASK in the village though as we sat outside even though the evening was chilly, groaned a lot whilst rotating our ankles, and drank a stupendous amount of water before munching on some salad. It was dark before we started to walk home.

I have a dream! Kath, me school chum (!) has just made her presence felt online with her Shiny New Blog.

I envisage a future where family and friends will all maintain their own blogs for their friends and family to read and comment on. I imagine busy and dynamic people sharing more of their life and personality in that relaxed and unstructured way than they normally would in a more judgemental and hurried/stressy social situation.

Deeper understanding and appreciation of people and their individuality will follow and the internet, rather than being blamed for the collapse of traditional society, will be heralded as the facilitator of a new, tolerant and thoughtful replacement society.

People will be informed and interested in each other when they meet, nicotine and alcohol crutches will be redundant, the importance of chocolate as a social gift will soar.
