Pause For Thought
Here's a thing to consider.
You're responsible for your own reality - anyone in it is a reflection of you.
I've heard it said that the things that you most dislike about other people tend to be the things you are most guilty of yourself. I'm not sure if it's true, but on the first pass, it seems to be. For example, I profess to really dislike lethargic, lazy people, yet, if I'm 100% deep-down, brutally honest, I have to admit that I have that tendancy myself and constantly fight against it.
It's also hit me this week that attitude is everything. It can change my world from heaven to hell, without any of the physical or situational facts being changed at all. It can cause me to transform everything, or to live helplessly and inertly in my own emotional amber prison.

I think the fact that you percieve that certain people are not trying to fight against their negative tendencies whilst you are trying to do so causes the irritation - after all why should you have to drag yourself out of your own lethargy just to have to put up with those people who can't be ars*d to?!
You may have a point! It's the SAD that I'm fighting too - this morning it would be much easier to "rest" indoors in the warm with a book and cup of tea - but there's periwinkles to be dug up and rain is approaching. Think I'll cycle down to the village to take back a key that doesn't work too.
