Clarity

Well, as part of trying to find something in life enjoyable again after the horrible events of the last few weeks, one of the distractions I suggested last weekend was a visit to our favourite bird of prey sanctuary, Huxleys. Click on the picture to visit their website.



They are lovely people, knowledgable and caring, and the birds are all spoilt rotten! We have been sponsoring birds with them for a while now, and the eagle who's tummy we are helping to fill this year is Seymour, a Bateleur Eagle, who is still very young and not into his adult colours, but is already large and full of attitude! Here is what he will look like when he has his full adult plumage.



I highly recommend this great establishment just outside Horsham, in Sussex. It's attached to a large Hilliers' Garden Centre, with a cafe, so there's something for everyone. If you are interested in birds, and seeing them looked after well, then this is the place to spend some money.
