Recovering

Well, a few weeks on and things are improving. I'm happy to go back to the house now, and it's starting to feel welcoming and friendly again. I still need radio and lights on at night, but am happy for Ian to be on another floor and to have him go out for short periods of time and leave me alone.

I had a nasty reaction on the Isle of Wight where I decided that I didn't want to go back; wanted to quit my job and sell our house and downsize. Decided to wait until after xmas now to see if any of that urge remains.

My mater tells me that all of this sounds familiar to her, and Ian is being very supportive and sweet, so I'm hoping that things will improve slowly and steadily.

Cid, the remaining mog, is looking better - he's now permanently on Prescription Diet A/D which is madly high in fats and calories and good stuff for old mogs, and he's munching a lot of chicken - basically about 3 meals a day at the moment. It's a "management" situation, but hopefully we're getting it right. He's certainly looking and acting happier, so maybe we will have a nice xmas holiday after all.
